Let's continue the Team Challenges!

Title: Low Rank Armor, High Rank Tenacity
Quest Giver: Spirit Breaker

Description: Purchase or craft any Rarity 1 equipment and beat the highest possible Urgent Guild Quest you can.

For example, you might only be able to beat the HR1 to HR2 Urgent, but if your team is good, you could manage to beat HR4 to HR5 Urgent quest. Just show me what you can do.


All items except Bombs are allowed.
You can however use bombs for Heroics.
Everything is allowed meaning Talons, flash, trap, donations, etc...

Equipment means Armor+Weapon. You are not allowed to gem up or upgrade your equipment.

Note:
1. You can use Sword Saint Piercing or Barrage Piercing, but then you have to be naked.
2. No weapon upgrade/Bowgun Attachements are fine
3. No gems also means no deco
4. No Lao/Shen/Goren/Jhen/Jiren

Defeat a monster without being the one giving it the final blow.

Title: Eggcercise for the n00bs!
Quest Client: N00b Trainer

Description: I, HV N00b Trainer, have noticed that many n00bs failed the last challenge. I think it is time for you n00bs to Eggcercise and make some gainz and git gudder.
Pick up an egg and perform the followings
1. Dodge a charge attack from the main monster.
2. Go around the main monster (perform a complete 360 around it) Ez pz no re.

These two feats do not have to be performed using the same Egg, but it must be done during the same quest. Bonus points if you use the same egg.

Requirements:
Main Monster cannot be any Drome.
Roll cannot be used in MHW.
All party members must perform the egg feats
A Charge attack is an attack where the monster runs at you.

Hunt any Large Monster with Stone, Boomerang, Punch and Kicks only! You can even try
Paintballs and throwable items.

Recommended Monsters:
MHF1: Yian Kut-ku.
MHFU: Yian Kut-Ku.
MHP3rd: Honey Bear.

This is a difficult challenge quest that requires very good timing and cooperation.

Complete the quest without any items (bowgun ammo and coatings are also not allowed) and no items from the starting supply box.
Only items picked up from within the arena are allowed.
You are not allowed to bring Charm and Talon, not even Whetstones from the start.

Title: Explosion All Around
Quest Client: Megumi
Quest Description Using Wyvern Fire of your Gunlance, GL Shots, or Bombs, kill a monster.
No traps are allowed. You can use stone, paintballs, or boomerangs.

Requirements
a) If you are using a weapon other than GL, that weapon should not be used to deal damage to the Monster.
b) Wyvern Fire or GL Shots are the only allowed weapon attacks.
c) You can use stone, paintballs, or boomerangs to activate bombs.
d) No traps are allowed :problem:
e) Accidental pokes or direct weapon attacks (not wyvern fire or shells) get you disqualified.

Description: Using only one arrow from your quiver, defeat a Tigrex. Time to think!

That is it. You must be wearing your gunning set and you must defeat a Tigrex corresponding to the max HR of your party. This means if you have a party of 4 and the Highest Ranked Hunter is HR4, you must defeat an HR4 Tigrex. Every hunter in your party must be using a bow.

n00b level: Defeat a Tigrex using only one arrow. You can use items and anything you can.
0kay level: Defeat a Tigrex without using items other than healing/buff/anti ailment.
pr0 level: Defeat a Tigrex without using items other than healing/buff/anti ailment. Shoot your one arrow for the final kill.

Quest Description:
Hey, my friend said that hunting horn was useless if it didn't play any songs. I know he's wrong, and I need you to help me prove it!
Requirements:

A. You must use hunting horn. Obviously.
B. You cannot play any songs at all. Including the Self-Improvement song. Unless you choose it in the Okay-level challenge.
C. You cannot use items while in the area with the monster.
D: You cannot sheath your weapon while in the area with the monster.
E. You cannot bring cats.

Additionally:

Okay level: You may use either the self-improvement song, or you may use rolls. You cannot use both in your run.
Pro level: No rolling, and no self-improvement song.
Insane: No rolling, no self-improvement, and don't take any damage! (note: self damage to activate heroics is OK)

Title: Sweating Bullets

Details:
I thought I would take this term quite literally.
How about a quest involving both sweat and bullets? I have heard those kind of quests are the best to bring out your inner demon gunner.
Buhahahha!

Requirements:
a. Weapon: Heavy Bowgun
b. Armor: Only helmet -- makes sweating better. No talisman.
c. Area: It must be in volcano or on a map that has heat damage
d. No Cool Drinks allowed, No Health Potion (no self healing), no health flute, No Traps, No Flash. No cold Meat because Cold meat = Cool Drink + meat. You can have Hot meat though. Your character must be taking heat damage!
e. All bullets are allowed except Clust and Crag shots. I recommend using heal shots.
f. No heavy bowgun special attack such as Siege Mode, and Hunter Arts.
g. No Healing at Camp. You are allowed one cart.
i. No Fish to heal red health (updated 2021/02/09)

just gun it! Drift the Monster to death!

Requirement:
a) Use only the running attack of your Lance to defeat the main monster
b) no blocking (dodging and back hopping is okay)
c) no ESP skill
d) charge finisher move is okay

Title: The First Silly Challenge

Detail: Defeat the monster using your lowest motion value attack on the shittiest hit zone.

Description You were too cheap to buy a gud gun from the smithy guy.
You end up with a gun that jams pretty easily. The only way for you to reload it (or to load a different kind of ammo)
is to hit your gun against something big, dangerous, alive, and mean... Use that gun and slay the main monster.

Requirements:
a) You must be using light bowgun or heavybowgun.
b) You are allowed to reload your gun only after having meleed the main monster using your gun.
c) No siege mode or auto reload skills.
d) No Traps, No flashbombs.

Description
While trying to protect your n00b friend against a G-rank Tigrex (in FU) or Black Tigrex (in P3rd), you broke your right arm and your left leg.
You are now using your Lance or Gunlance, but cannot block, and cannot hop.
Show your n00b friend that even with that handicap, you can still defeat the Tigrex.

Summary and Requirements
a) Defeat G-rank Tigrex (in FU) or Black Tigrex (in P3rd)
b) Use a lance or Gunlance
c) You cannot use your shield (Block) and you cannot hop (back, or to the side, while your weapon is unsheathed)
d) Since your leg is hurting quite a bit, you can run, but you cannot superman dive :problem:.

Note: Bombs cannot be used in this challenge.

Title: Smooth Walker.

Let's start easy: Defeat the main monster without rolling, blocking, and sprinting (running with R button). (you can run when the monster changes areas)
Only the 16 teams that registered are allowed to enter this challenge.

Requirements: No rolling. No Sprinting. No carting. No Blocking, No Lance Charges. No Back hoping. No Side Stepping, NO PRESSING THE DODGE BUTTON X on PS, B on Nintendo. No sleeping to heal at camp.

-If you use R to attack, then yes

Quest Description: I've been trying out so many things but I've never smelled a Congalala fart before. I heard they only fart if they're agitated. So I would like to get a whiff. Make sure to hunt an Emerald variant since I heard they are much potent.

Quest Detail: Hunt an Emerald Congalala but only attack while inflicted with the fart debuff.

Requirements:
-No traps, bombs, meat, seed/drugs, healing items, and HH healing songs. Use only Exciteshrooms for healing.
Gunlance, Lance, and ranged weapons are not allowed.

0kayLevel: No restrictions aside from the fart requirement.
Pr0Level: Follow every requirement.

FU ONLY CHALLENGE, Deal with it scrubs.

This challenge is in memory of the greatest Gunner to come to life (The Legendary Gunner; he was THE gunner not afraid of facing a Blos in the worst condition).

Challenge Main Description: Using a Bow, hunt a black Diablos. (Very simple and n00b friendly).

Challenge Prerequesites:
a)Your stamina MUST BE as low as possible (in the red).
b) No use of FlashBombs and no sleep bombing (fight you pussies!)
c) You can hunt any rank as long as your equipment is from the same rank.
Example: HR2 Black Diablos but using HR2 equipments.

For MHF1 since there is no Bow, you are allowed to use a bowGun.

Detail: Play any flute before any hammer combo.


Restriction: No traps, no bombs, no flash.

Notes:
It counts if a monster interrupts you during your flute play. In multiplayer, when any one person plays the flute, everyone can perform a Hammer combo. No Need to play the flute if the monster is KO'd or tripped. If you run out of flute, you can whistle in your microphone for 2 seconds before comboing kek.

This is a n00b friendly challenge :problem:.

Description: Using only GS LVL 3 charge, complete the following two quests:
a) A quest where Tigrex is the main and only target monster.
b) A quest where Narga is the main and only target monster.

Requirements:
i) Everyone in your party must be using a GS. The quest taken must correspond to the highest HR of your party.
ii) No Traps, No Flash bombs, No sleep weapons, and No para weapons.
iii) ONLY GS LVL3 Charges must be used.
iv) Having Nekoth unlocked counts as being High Rank.

n00b level Only complete the challenge on Narga or on Tigrex
0kay level Complete the challenge on Narga and Tigrex
pr0 level Complete the challenge on Narga and Tigrex while soloing AND time your LVL3 charge to stop the monster charging at you at least once. :problem:

Title: Long Great Sword
Description: Use your GS as an LS and show those LS scrubs that you are better than them!
Here are the requirements:
1. Your GS must always be unsheathed.
2. You must not block with your GS.
3. No GS Charge
4. You can roll.
5. You can sheath your GS if you and the monster are in different areas.
6. You must immediately unsheathe your weapon when coming out of stunned/drugged/para'd status.
7. You must leave the area to heal. Meaning your GS must be unsheathed and you must roll out.
8. Your armor must match the quest Rank.

Basically use your GS as an LS.

For this challenge, you will have to use your Long Great Sword technique on two different
monsters. Since those two monsters are likely not to be part of the same quest, you will
have to complete two different quests.

F1 & FU: Black Diablos and Black Gravios
P3rd: Glacial Agnakator and Black Diablos

MHXX: Gravios and Diablos, Guild Style only, Moon Breaker and Ground Slash allowed.

Title: Last Serious Challenge

Quest Giver Me


Quest Description: Ones should study their enemy before engaging into combat. This training eggxercise will help hone your ability to gauge openings to deal the maximum amount of damage.

Instructions: Deal the highest raw motion value to a weakpoint of the monster (raw hzv of 45+ i.e. enough to trigger weakness exploit). Only applies to hits that connect with the monster.

Definitions and clarifications:
Highest raw motion value: You will need to find out what is the highest motion value attack of your weapon that you can perform at your current situation.
Here are some resources:

e.g. The GS's strongest attack is the strong charge (tcs in world), however, this will require a combo. Hence you have to use the next best thing which is the Lv3 charge.
If you are in 4U and wish to use the strong charge, your next attack (after the Lv3 charge) would be your side slash as the kick does less damage than the side slash.

For attacks that do multiple hits per button press (e.g. ig, dbs), you will need to use the button press that would lead to the highest summed motion value. E.g. Demon dance for dbs (but they must only hit the weak part, you will be dq’d if you hit another part. It is fine if you miss a hit).


Restrictions: No traps, flash bombs, bombs, no status.
--If the monster sleeps for whatever reason, you must kick it (doesn’t matter where) or use a small bb.
--If the monster is paralyzed for whatever reason, you must not hit the monster.
--If weakness exploit exists in your game (except 4u), you must have that skill + other crit boosting skills or weps that lets you reach 100% affinity after weakness exploit.

Monsters:
Ez mode (Reward Pending): rathian, khezu, narga, Rajang, gigginox, gr8 jaggi, peco, tigrex
Hard mode (Reward Pending): uragaan, jho (must NOT be savage), gammoth, shogun/rustrazor, agnaktor, goldbeard, stygian zin
God mode (Reward Pending): alatreon (p3rd not included), duramboros (gunner not allowed), redhelm.

Additional Requirements:
a If the monster is in rage mode, kick number goes up by 1.
b Your Kick count resets if the monster hits you.
c You are limited to use only 4 healing items. Items that affect status are okay.
d You cannot stack up attacks by kicking multiple times.

Using only the Gun of your Gunlance, defeat DLC White Fatalis or DLC Alatreon.

Quest Requirements:
You are to ONLY use the gun of your gunlance. This means you can only use the Explosive Rounds or the Wyvern Fire. No Physical attacks are to be used! :problem:
The ONLY PHYSICAL DAMAGE that is allowed is the one that makes the hunter aim his/her GunLance upwards. The upward swing must be followed by Shell shots. Any other physical damage will have you disqualified from the challenge.

MHF1 (since no one has entered the challenge in the long time, you can :RIP:)

Pr0 level: Break White fatalis eye or Alatreon Wings WITHOUT using any physical attack! (not even the one that allows you to aim your gun upwards). This means, you can upswing, but if the upswing does physical damage or touches fatalis you fail. So aim up, but don't hit while aiming.

Quest Description: Heard of I-frame window? Well, let's expand on that. Turn your I-frame into an A-frame (Attack Frame). Read on! Buhahahaha! And don't forget to doooodge!

Quest Detail: Without any Evade modifier equipment, I-frame any attacks, then perform any combo for at most 5 seconds after your dodge. This is your A-frame (problem.jpg). You cannot stack A-frames.

Monsters: Narga (all game except F1). Gypceros (F1).
0kayLevel: A-frame is 10 seconds long.
Pr0Level: A-frame is 5 seconds long. Also when this season is over, Pr0Level entries would need to take 0 damage throughout the hunt.

Restrictions: A superman dive doesn't count.
Since so many people have been scamming me and submitting non I-frame dodges, these are the only attacks that will count towards your attack frames:
1. Narga tail spin
2. Narga tail swipe
3. Narga Roar.

Additionally, for pr0Level, you must not take any damage from Narga! Needless to say No carting!
